Celtic have been named as the new champions of Scotland for the ninth season in a row after people handling football in the country decided to end the 2019/20 League season.
Football authorities in Scotland have been having meetings since last week over what can be done to the season which has been affected by deadly coronavirus.
There has not been football games in Europe since March after coronavirus became more dangerous killing scores of people all over the world.
According to the report on Daily Mail, 12 clubs in the Scottish League agreed on Monday, May 18, that they cannot continue with the season which forced the body in charge to end it.
Neil Lennon's Celtic side were 13 points ahead of rivals and closest challengers Rangers when the season was suspended as they had played a game more than Rangers.
The decision to end the League will be a sad one for Hearts who were four points behind Hamilton with the hopes of the escaping relegation.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paris-Saint-Germain were crowned champions of France for the third time in a row following the decision of the League body to end the season because of coronavirus.
The French Ligue 1 chiefs this week made the decision to cancel the whole 2019/20 season due to the continuous threat of deadly coronavirus which has killed many people in the world.
Government in France made it clear that all football activities in the country must be suspended until September with the hopes that the pandemic will get solution.
Although the League body have not made an official announcement on the latest development, but according to L'Equipe, they confirmed that PSG are the champions.
This is because Paris-Saint-Germain have been topping the League standings for weeks and they were also sure of retaining their title.
The report added that the teams that will be relegated have not been confirmed as the League body will take their time on the decision to be made.
