Frank Lampard has reiterated his desire to keep want-away trio Willian, Olivier Giroud and Pedro beyond when their contracts at Chelsea run out.

The three players will be out of contract at the end of June after which they will be allowed to leave for free.

But with the 2019/20 Premier League campaign set for a potential return to action, Lampard has moved to have the players' deals extended to ensure he still has a full squad.

"The ones out of contract here have been great servants for the club and actually have a lot of feeling for the club, but of course they will be concerned about themselves in terms of how they are now, and if pre-season is rushed they’ll want to make sure they’re alright. So it’s going to have to be something we look at," Lampard told Chelsea website.

"Hopefully we can have that arrangement so they can stay with us because if we play again I would love the squad to look as it’s looked all season, but we’ll have to see how that works," he added.

SunSport reports Lampard is desperate to keep the three given they all play in attacking roles and Chelsea failed to sign any substantive replacement during the January transfer window.

Out of the three, it is believed Willian is the unlikeliest to extend his stay by another month or two.

The Brazilian star has already been linked with a move to Arsenal and a potential reunion with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur.

Pedro, on the other hand is thought to fancy a return to Spain, but a move to the Major League Soccer can also not be ruled out.

The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order, with Lampard preferring youngsters over the former Arsenal striker.

Earlier, reported that Chelsea superstar Callum Hudson-Odoi has landed himself in trouble with authorities after he was involved in a 4am row with a model he met online.

The incident saw Hudson-Odoi breach lockdown guidelines as he invited the woman to his penthouse on Sunday morning, May 17.
