As expected, natives of Ondo state took to her comment section to hail her tweet. Many of them replied to her post with some slangs from the state. Teni's tweet had over 7, 000 likes and over 1, 000 retweets.

However, the comment that caught the attention of people on the singer's tweet is that of the Ondo state governor. Quoting the tweet, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu used a popular slang of a Nigerian comedian to reply to the songstress.

The governor told Teni that she is doing well.

Akeredolu's response seemed to have surprised many Nigerians who noted that they didn't know that the governor is current with trending slangs among youths.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that singer Teni reacted to lockdown extension, said food is her best friend.

The Uyo Meyo crooner said that the extended 14 days lockdown has made food become her 'bestest' friend. She shared a video of her eating Eba and assorted Okro soup. In the video, she stated that the extended lockdown is making her eat more.

The singer lamented that she's been through so much in her life but not the kind of boredom she was going through. She revealed that she is at home 24hours and there is nothing expected of her than to eat. However, she stated that she is afraid of her stomach because at the rate at which she was going her stomach might burst.
