Coronavirus: Emotional moment wife begs husband to come back from the dead

As the body of one Babafemi Adebayo who recently died of coronavirus in Brazil was being bundled, his widow could be seen in a video broken down in tears as she begged him to wake up.

In the video which was shared by Media Gist, the woman begged her husband to wake up, saying his mother and children are at home. notes that the woman said: “Babafemi are you sleeping? Please wake up. Your mother is at home, your children are at home, your elder and younger siblings are at home. Please wake in the name of Jesus. Jesus have mercy on me. Jesus, take pity on me.

“Ahhh, Adebayo. Babafemi. I’m calling you. It’s me calling you, not someone else. Your wife is the one calling you. I ask you to wake up in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ, I’m calling you.

“It’s your body that’s being bundled so. Jesus take pity on me. I’m begging you.”

In other news, tragedy struck as a mental health nurse and a midwife who worked at the same hospital died after contracting the deadly coronavirus. Forty-one-year-old Lillian Mudzivare and Safaa Alam worked at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Trust.

Shazad, Safaa's husband who is currently grieving, said the death of his wife has left an empty feeling and space in his life.

He said: "Saf was my beautiful and full-of-life wife. She was my childhood sweetheart and we grew up together."

Lilian's husband, Moses, and their daughters issued a statement in which they expressed how they were "to lose such a wonderful person".
