This was disclosed on Friday, May 15, in a tweet via the official twitter handle of the teaching hospital @LUTHofficial.

Recall that LUTH had on Saturday, May 9, delivered a 37-year-old woman of a baby boy and a 40-year-old COVID-19 patient of a baby girl on Monday, April 27.

Meanwhile, previously reported that a 29-year-old mother died of coronavirus just days after giving birth - before ever getting to see her baby. Fozia Hanif had just celebrated her 29th birthday when her ventilator was turned off in Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.
