- Samuel Eto'o claims Ronaldo De Lima is the greatest striker of all-time
- The ex-Barcelona star shunned his ex-teammate Messi and picked Mbappe as third
- Eto'o also rated himself as the greatest African player ever
Ronaldo De Lima has been selected by Samuel Eto'o as his greatest striker ahead of former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi and French star Kylian Mbappe.
In a live-streamed chat organised by Generation Amazing, Eto'o was asked questions regarding who would pick as his best striker and he said: “The best of all was Ronaldo, 'O Fenômeno'. I have such great respect and admiration for him.
"Then there are a lot of us who come up behind him, and I’d include myself among them. The best current players? I’d have to go with Lionel Messi, who’s more experienced, and Kylian Mbappé, who’s the youngster making the biggest impression.
"I think he’s going to be the chief global star in the years to come.”

The former Inter and Chelsea striker was also asked who is the greatest African player to have played the game and his picked himself.
“It’s difficult to say. There have been many who have won international trophies and African Footballer of the Year awards.
I’m one of them, obviously. I won top tournaments with top teams. What would be ideal would be to mix together each of the African stars that there have been to create one player - he’d be the best.”
The Real Madrid academy graduate then mentioned his best-attacking trio and they were all his teammates at Camp Nou.
“My favourite goal was the one I scored against Brazil in the Confederations Cup. It was the first time my mother had come to see a game at the stadium and I was able to say, “Thanks, Mum,” with a message written on a T-shirt. As for the best attacking trio, it’s very difficult to choose, but I’d go for Messi, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo 'O Fenômeno'.”
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lionel Messi's cousin Maxi Biancucchi has claimed that Barcelona star was so talented that other players 'wanted to kill him'.
The duo grew up in their native Argentina, and would regularly be involved in matches in their local area.
According to Biancucchi, Messi was exceptional that he came out tops even against bigger and older kids.
Legit.ng also reported that Mario Balotelli has received an apology from his international teammate Giorgio Chiellini after he was criticized by the national team captain.
Chiellini said the former Man City striker deserved a slap for his attitude at the 2013 Confederations Cup in his upcoming book.
The Juventus captain also said the ex-Liverpool and Marseille star is a negative person and has no respect for the team.
