Irish mixed martial artist and boxer Conor McGregor has told boxing legend Mike Tyson that he will be beat Floyd Mayweather if a rematch should come up between him and the American.

Back in August 2017, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather went into serious battle in which the American boxer came out victorious.

Floyd Mayweather was declared the winner of the fight in the 10th round in a big battle which was staged in Las Vegas.

While speaking on Twitter, Mike Tyson praised Conor McGregor for his superb show despite losing against Floyd Mayweather in the battle.

“He never had a boxing match in his life, right, he never had a boxing match and he went 10 rounds with the greatest fighter in the last 100 years of boxing.

“He went 10 rounds, scored punches on the greatest fighter in the last 100 years,'' Mike Tyson explained.

Conor McGregor however responded to Mike Tyson's claims therefore praising the 53-year-old for his words on him.

“Thank you Mike, and just know that for the inevitable rematch, with the knowledge I now hold of Floyd’s style, plus under the tutelage of my old school boxing coach, I will crack the puzzle, and I will beat Floyd,'' he stated.

McGregor's latest comment will come as a temptation for Floyd Mayweather to come out of retirement as the money man has not fought since then.

He has also made it clear many times that he is done with boxing claiming that he makes more money now than fighting.

In January this year, an unnamed Saudi Arabia billionaire was linked with a move to buy Newcastle United, but nothing came out of it.

Floyd Mayweather is known as the richest athlete in the world considering what he has gathered so far in his boxing career before he retired from the game of the ring.
