A young Nigerian man identified as @Thevolqx on Twitter has taken to the microblogging site to share his opinion about his fellow Igbo men.
According to Volqx, Igbos only show love to each other on social media and not in real life, except the person is rich. The young man said that Igbos would rarely set their clansmen up with an opportunity that would bring them on the same level.
Tweeting further, Volqx said that Igbo men will rather buy you drinks and spray you money rather than help you grow.
He wrote: “Na social media Igbo people dey show each other love, but in real life? Except you are rich, They rather buy you drinks, spray money at your wedding than set you up with an opportunity that brings you to the same level with them. 1 single igbo person hasn’t done nada for me.
“I’m waiting for one igbo person that will say he/she has done something for me, uncle, aunty, extended family, friend, ex friend , anyone at all, I'm waiting, once they show me I’ll delete this tweet.”
