Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Mauritius declared that it is officially free of the deadly coronavirus that has taken the world by storm, becoming the second African country to declare virus-free status after infection.
According to the island nation’s official COVID-19 page, 322 people had recovered out of the 332 confirmed cases so far. 10 people have since died.
May 11 marked the fifteenth consecutive day that the no-new-case was recorded in the country.
A lockdown, however, remains in place to contain the possible spread of the virus.
Weeks ago, Mauritania declared itself coronavirus-free after six coronavirus patients recovered and left the hospital, while one person succumbed to the virus.
The GO, who has a good working relationship with the police, promised to sustain the bonding between the police and his ministry.
The items were received by the state commissioner of police, Joseph G Mukan, who expressed gratitude to the man of God for his show of love to the police in the state.
Mukan urged the cleric not to relent in his efforts in giving back to the society, adding that such exemplifies the Life of Christ.
