Nigeria's largest coronavirus isolation centre was inaugurated on Tuesday, May 12, by the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Musa Bello.

The 506-bed Idu Isolation and Treatment Centre for COVID-19 patients in Abuja is equipped with recreational facilities, The Cable reports.

Legit.ng gathers that the chairman of the ministerial expert advisory committee, Aliyu Modibbo Umar, said his team mobilised human, financial and material resources to support the FCT administration in setting up the centre.
