Singer Simi has addressed a matter that is very important to her. The expectant mother took to her official Twitter page to talk to those who throw endearing words like 'dear' and respectful words like 'ma' anyhow.

According to her, she does not know what to do with people like that. The Duduke crooner said that she does not want such words to be used for her anymore.

Knowing how quick Simi is to block followers who err on her page, some fans jokingly started apologising to her. Reacting to that, she said she has not sold the block industry people claim she has.

Meanwhile, a man identified as Taiwo Tolulope Oladiran reacted to Simi's post that she should not be addressed as ma. Taiwo, who identifies as a philosopher, explained that people show respect to her by the use of ma.

According to him, people can take Simi's humility for arrogance if she does not clearly define what she means.

A fan called Adekemi Adelani jumped to Simi's defense by saying that she does not just want to be addressed as ma. According to her, it shows how simple the singer is.

Arguing otherwise, Taiwo said that Simi lacks confidence.

While many have confessed to the beauty of the song, some are wondering what the title of the song, Duduke, means. Reacting to the questions, the expectant mum said that the title of her song meant beat.
