Elders in Maverley which is a community in Jamaica have been remembered by Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling who sent some coronavirus palliatives to them on Monday, May 11.
The entire world are facing the consequence of the heartbreak of coronavirus which has affected the global economy so badly that many firms are no longer making profits.
Raheem Sterling was born in this community where he was raised up until the age of 5 when his father was shot and killed which forced the England international and his mother to England.
His mother single-handedly raised him up before growing up to become one of the best forwards in the world.
Sterling played a pivotal role in Manchester City's success in the last two seasons winning the Premier League titles.
Jamaica are not that badly affected with cases of coronavirus unlike America, and despite that, Raheem Sterling still have the love of where he was born in his heart.
According to the report on Daily Mail, an eight-year-old girl was pictured receiving from the packages Raheem Sterling sent to the community.
The Premier League star also urged the people of Maverley to stay safe so as not to contract the deadly coronavirus.
Sterling also spoke about the resumption of the Premier League season claiming that the lives of players and other are important.

League chiefs are said to be considering resuming the suspended season in June with options that games should be played behind closed doors.
