"Gov. Wike destroying someone's means of livelihood didn't prove anything, instead, it has just increased the unemployment rate in the state..."

Helen Taylor said: "It Is very wrong for him.to demolish their property that's their life. This is not how to be active in a government setting. It is an abuse of office. He is taken law into his hand. People should know there right and sue his government for compensation."

Gloria Azuike commented: "This is wickedness. There are other punitive measures than to destroy somebody's sweat. Please he should be called to order."

"Wike is normally one of my favourite governors, I admire his courage so much, but on this he got it wrong. Nothing can justify demolition of those hotels, a hefty fine could have been smashed on them.

"He has just succeeded creating few more unemployment. I think legal actions against the government should begin. I don't think there's any law in place yet in Rivers that approves such actions by the governor," Ken Nerioya Osunbor said.
