In other news, a 33-year-old woman from the United States identified as Emily Doucet has cried out after she was denied access to her dog's Facebook account and told to present a valid driver's licence for the pet.

Emily said she created the account for her pet named Max in 2010 and recently tried to log in to update his last name to her married name.

She, however, could not remember the password and was eventually locked out.

Emily told BuzzFeed News: "I’m not sure how it happened, but I so rarely use the account that I honestly wasn’t too surprised."
