It is indeed a sad and trying time for the family members of a Nigerian actress identified as Chizoba Bosah, following the heartbreaking news of her death.

According to reports by Yes International Magazine, the 52-year-old movie star passed away on Sunday, May 10.

The report also noted that the veteran actress lost her life after a long time battle with diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure.

Until her sudden departure, Chizoba was a seasoned actress, producer and presenter. She was one of the cast of the epoch-making flick, ‘Living in Bondage’ and her Igbo comedy series- ‘Kanyi Si Ebi’ was a major contributor to the start of Igbo Channel on DSTV.

The actress was also known for her role as Aunty Atinuke in popular Tv drama, Tinsel.

The deceased actress was married to husband, Sam Boye for about 15 years, and they jointly operated a company called Purple Pictures.

Some months ago, reported that the movie industry was faced with another tragedy after losing a popular actor and scriptwriter, Gbenga Ajumoko. The actor reportedly passed away months after battling with two chronic ailments.

The actor, who was from Ijebu, Ogun state, was said to have been hospitalised for over six months after he was diagnosed. He was being treated at a hospital in Sagamu, Remo in Ogun state. According to reports, Ajumoko was diagnosed with kidney failure and diabetes disease.

It was also reported that the actor was earlier diagnosed with hypertension, which led to the failure of his kidneys.
