- Thomas Partey will be reportedly swapped for Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
- Arsenal have been the front runners for Atletico Madrid star in recent week
- Reports claim the Gunners might not be able to reach his £45m buy-out clause
Thomas will reportedly be involved in a swap deal for Liverpool's Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain which would come as a huge blow to Arsenal.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with the Gunners in recent weeks but it is not certain if the London club can match his £45million release clause.
According to British news outlet The Sun, the Madrid based club are looking to bring the vastly experienced Oxlade-Chamberlain for a swap with Partey.

The England international has played for Jurgen Klopp's side in 34 matches across all competitions this season since returning from a back injury.
Oxlade-Chamberlain's contract at Anfield runs until the summer of 2023 and has become an important member of the Reds team.
On the other hand, Partey also has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until 2023 and could leave the club this summer to ply his trade in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Jordan Henderson without a shadow of a doubt has been named BBC's best player in the Premier League for the 2019-20 season.
The British news media outlet asked fans to vote who their standout player is for the current season and the Liverpool captain won with 23 per cent of the votes.
Sadio Mane came second with 17% while Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne had to settle for third place 14% of votes.
The England midfielder has scored three goals and provided five assists this season, his best ever since the 2014-15 season.
Legit.ng also reported that Thomas Partey has finally made a decision on whether to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal in the summer, reports claim.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been linked to the emirates in the past few weeks as Mikel Arteta looks to inject more experienced players into his midfield in the summer.
And a release clause of £43million is currently on the 26-year-old's contract which would be doubtful for Arsenal who currently have a tight budget for the summer due to the pandemic.
