Dethroned Emir of Kano Lamido Sanusi welcomes baby girl from 4th wife

- The fourth wife of the dethroned Emir of Kano state, Lamido Sanusi, has reportedly been blessed with a new baby

- A Twitter account said to be close to the family, tweeted the baby's picture as it said: "Our princess is here"

- The fourth wife's name is Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha, an indigene of Adamawa state who was married at age 18

The dethroned Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, has reportedly welcomed a baby girl from his 4th wife, Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha, as reported by a local media, Firstweekly Magazine.

Saadatu is said to be an indigene of Adamawa state and got married to the former emir on September 15, 2015.

It should be noted that Sanusi married the woman when she was just 18 years old, an issue that stirred public uproar.

Daily Times reports that the news of the delivery was confirmed from a Manunita who said that the erstwhile monarch is blessed with the new bundle of joy as the person prayed for her wellbeing.

A Twitter account said to be close to the family according to Daily Times also tweeted about the newborn.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the chairman of NURTW Lagos branch, MC Olumo, celebrated his daughter, Falilat Seun Akinsanya, as she bagged a degree from the University of Miami.

In a post on his Instagram account on Saturday, May 9, he spoke about how he is so proud of her and how the whole family wishes her further successes and achievements.

He also used the opportunity to pray that every parent will reap from the labour they have invested in bringing up their children.

In other news, a Nigerian woman with the name Clara Chekwube spoke about what is expected of a woman in marriage.

In a post on the micro-messaging platform on Friday, May 8, she said the "no matter how modern the world gets", she will never believe she and her husband are mates.

Chekwube went further and said that there is always a hierarchy in marriage, adding that she believes as a traditional woman, her "husband is the head of the home. She added that he is the CEO and she could be the manager.
