Veteran Nollywoos actor, Adebayo Salami has cause to celebrate as he recently added another year on May 9, 2020. The actor who turned 67, was celebrated by many fans and well wishers.
Amongst those who celebrated him is Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright. Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a photo of the film star and accompanied it with a beautiful birthday message.
She wrote: "Happy birthday to a living legend of my time. @adebayo.salami igba odun, odun kan ni. I wish you long life and prosperity as you age with grace of almighty God sir."

Although of Kwara descent, Salami was born in 1953 in Lagos state where he had both primary and secondary education.
Salami who is also a movie director and producer, began his acting career in 1964, with a group called Young Concert Party, under the leadership of Ojo Ladipo, popularly known as Baba Mero.
After a few years, the group changed its name to Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group, and later metamorphosed into Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group. Following the demise of Ojo Ladipo in 1978, Salami took the mantle of leadership of the group, which brought him into the limelight

In a recent post shared to his Instagram account, he shared a photo collage of him and the mother of one, expressing his love for her and how he would chose her again in another life.
Meanwhile, popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido, has taken to social media to celebrate 9 years of being in the Nigerian music industry.
Davido no doubt, has come a long way in the music industry from his early days in which Dami Duro was a hit song everyone danced to, all the way down to his A Good Time album currently rocking the airwaves.
