President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with members of his extended family and Daura community at large over the death of his nephew, Alhaji Mutari Dauda.
Legit.ng gathered that the Nigerian leader in a statement issued on Friday, May 8, by his media aide, Garba Shehu, prayed that Allah forgives his gentle soul and rewards his goods deeds with aljanna.
Mutari Dauda Daura was the younger brother of the president's 81-year-old nephew, Malam Mamman Daura who died on Friday.
Dauda's death is coming less than a month after the president lost his chief of staff, Malam Abba Kyari.
Kyari died on Friday, April 17, of complications from the dreaded coronavirus ravaging the world while receiving treatment at an unknown location.
His death was in a statement by the presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, May 6, had a telephone conversation with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Yusuf Buratai, commiserating with him over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf Buratai.

Malam Garba Shehu, the president’s spokesman in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, quoted the President to have condoled with all members of the family, praying that the almighty God would receive the soul of the departed matriarch, who lived a pious, prayerful and generous life.
President Buhari also prayed that the almighty God would comfort Lt.-Gen. Buratai, who has been at the epicentre of war against terrorists in the northeast, urging the family to find solace in Hajiya Hauwa’s good works.
In other news, Aisha Kyari, one of the children of the late chief of staff of the Nigerian president urged critics to let her father, Malam Abba Kyari, rest in peace.
Aisha on her Instagram status update on Monday, April 27, told her father’s critics to allow those that love him grieve and mourn in peace.
Aisha Kyari also reportedly berated some people whom she alleged had been asking about her father’s whereabouts while was undergoing treatment.
