Nigerians react as popular influencer gets arrested again for drug possession in Cyprus

- Two Nigerian students Onuwa Kachıkwu and Uduak Emmanuel, have been arrested for peddling drugs in Cyprus

- One of them, Uduak is said to be a two-time offender as she was arrested 6 months earlier for the same offence

- The news of Uduak's arrest has left social media buzzing as she has an active social media account as a flamboyant lifestyle influencer

Two Nigerian students have arrested for peddling drugs in Cyprus. According to reports, the duo, Onuwa Kachıkwu and Uduak Emmanuel, were arrested on May 6, 2020 and charged with receiving, selling and storing illicit drugs.

It is reported that a total of 17 grams of wrapped drugs have been retrieved from the students, one of whom was a lady (Uduak) who was reported to have sold drugs to the Department of Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling in Cyprus.

Murat Özkırdar, the police officer who busted them, also discovered $3750 (N1.4m), €400 (N171, 140), £50 (24,192), and 1100 TL in a shoe box in their room. The money is believed to be proceeds of illicit drugs sales.

The judge ordered the suspects to remain in detention for 5 days so that the investigation could be conducted safely.

One of the suspect, Uduak is a popular lifestyle influencer on social media. Popularly known as @uduakisbae on Instagram and Twitter, she never misses an opportunity to show off her lavish lifestyle.

Uduak only six months ago, had been arrested for similar charges and her unrepentant nature has left people stunned.

In other news, a Nigerian man identified as Kosi Ugo, recently left social media users buzzing with reactions after he took to the Facebook platform to recount his experience with a married woman who once propositioned him.

According to Ugo, the married woman offered to pay him a whopping N3m to impregnate her. Ugo claims the woman said she didn't want her children to inherit her husband's genes.
