Senator Dino Melaye has taken to social media to make a public service announcement concerning bloggers and the type of things they write about him.

The former lawmaker in a recent Instagram post, stated that people who are in the habit of using him to promote their blogs and do publicity stunts, will soon start paying.

Melaye also questioned how using his pictures and writing "rubbish" about him equals to engagements. He went on to say he will soon release a song for people guilty of doing this.

Sharing the post, he put a caption in Yoruba which translates to: "Whatever anyone wishes to say, let them say. Leave them alone, let them keep talking."

His post is believed to be his reaction to the marriage rumours linking him with Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.

Only a while ago, the former lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district released a new song in which he declared war on the coronavirus pandemic the world is currently battling with.

Melaye called on God to intervene and deal mercilessly with the pandemic that is giving the world a sleepless night. In the song, the former lawmaker called on God to let the world overcome the coronavirus pandemic by the power in the blood of Jesus.
