Dineo Mosebjadi Khobo took to the #ImStaying Facebook group to reveal her grandmother had celebrated her birthday.
Khobo shared a photo of her gogo and revealed the elderly lady has turned 93 years old amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Her post simply read:
"To my granny, happy birthday to her, she's turning 93 today."

Her post gathered over 18 000 reactions and more than 2 600 people flooded the comment section to wish the gogo a happy birthday.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that South Africa's oldest man, Fredie Blom, celebrated his 116th birthday on May 8, 2020.
The centenarian who was born on May 8, 1904, in Adelaide, Eastern Cape, is married to Jeanette Blom and does not have any children of his own.
On Friday, Blom turned 116 years old and he had only one wish for his birthday - to have a smoke.
According to Times LIVE, Blom wanted tobacco to roll his own ciggies but he couldn't get any under the current lockdown regulations.
