- Neymar has rejected new big contract deal at Paris-Saint-Germain
- The Brazilian is interested in making a return to Barcelona
- Barcelona will have to come up with impressive offer to have him back
Brazilian football star Neymar has reportedly snubbed offer of a contract renewal given to him by Paris-Saint-Germain in an indication that he wants to return to Barcelona.
Neymar left Spanish champions Barcelona for a move to PSG in 2017 and he has won three French Ligue 1 titles at the club since he joined the Paris club.
But despite that, there have been reports of Neymar not happy at Paris-Saint-Germain and he is said to be looking for ways to go back to Barcelona and have reunion with Lionel Messi.
During his four-year stay at Barcelona, Neymar had superb relationship with Lionel Messi as they even won the Champions League together.
Some Barcelona stars with Messi leading the crew are also said to be pulling for the return of the Brazilian even though the club are yet to say anything on the development.
Paris-Saint-Germain paid Barcelona massive sum of £198million for them to have Neymar and they would want to get such amount back if not more before they can allow him leave.
His current contract with Paris-Saint-Germain will expire in the summer of 2022, and according to Mundo Deportivo, PSG have offered him a new deal which he rejected.
The report added that Neymar got a fresh offer of £100 million renewal premium which he snubbed despite how big the money is.
This latest development will however put Barcelona on red alert, but they will have to sell some players like Coutinho and Dembele for them to raise money if truly they want Neymar back.
Meanwhile, Barcelona stars have resumed training ahead of a possible return of the Spanish La Liga.
