The coronavirus pandemic has caused havoc around the world and it has dominated headlines in the last few months

South Africans have been unscathed for the most part, but this is largely due to a disciplined approach during lockdown.

With all the doom and gloom, Briefly.co.za shared the positive news of one man's recovery after being infected.

The post garnered a strong reaction and more than 150 comments were shared.

Due to the virus' notoriety, many wanted to know exactly how the young man was able to beat Covid-19.

Jabu Ntetha explained his scepticism:

"If I don't see any proof that he was infected. I for one don't believe him."

Paul Wachoz Mamwenda singled out the medical professionals:

"Hats off to all the health workers who your putting their lives at risks to save the sick..God bless u abundantly."

Limotia Litunge wanted some tips:

"He must explain to us what was he taking to cure the disease."

In other news, the founder of Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop Davido Oyedepo, has kicked against the revised lockdown directives which sidelined religious centres.

Recall that the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and the Federal Capital Territory was relaxed by President Muhammadu Buhari, bringing a gradual resumption of activities.

However, churches and mosques remain shut as the country still tries to contain the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
