- Farid El-Melali was caught in the awful act by neighbours
- The Algerian currently plays for Ligue 1 side Angers
- He has been arrested and police will commence a trial
Moments after signing a contract extension, Angers of France winger Farid El Melali was caught playing with his private part in public and will be tried for indecent exposure, according to reports.
The 22-year-old Algerian international was reported by neighbours who found him exposing himself in front of the building.
Police questioned the star, but according to his lawyer Chirac-Kollarik, the player wasn't targeting anyone, and wasn't aggressive towards anyone.

El Melali himself has admitted the claims by police, but he maintained that he thought he was the only one around the courtyard of the building in question.
Subsequently he was released, but a trial will however go ahead in terms of an appearance prior to an admission of guilt.
It was also gathered that the Algerian had done something similar to that last month, but the witnesses were unable to identify him.
Angers have said they will wait for the decision after acknowledging the situation.
The winger has spent a lot of time on the sidelines through injury, but had scored five goals in eight appearances for his club this season before Ligue 1 was cancelled due to coronavirus.
And this is coming barely 24 hours that Salomon Kalou has been slammed with a ban by Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin after breaking the social distancing rule.
German clubs have returned to training in a bid to resume the league on May 9, 2020, with several precautions taken including social distancing.
But the former Chelsea star made a live video on Facebook as he filmed himself interrupting a teammate who was conducting a test which did not go down well with the Hertha.
Legit.ng earlier reported that It was gathered that Tottenham players Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko earlier broke the coronavirus lockdown rules a fortnight before club manager Jose Mourinho was blasted for doing the same.
Aurier had posted a video of himself having a mask on while training with his Spurs’ team-mate Sissoko before he quickly deleted it. "Work with my bro," the Ivorian captioned the post in French.
The club spokesman has however stated that the pair would be punished as the team will do everything to adhere to guidelines as advised by front line health workers. “We shall be speaking to both players involved,” he said.
