COVID-19: Fireboy DML praises Nigerian health workers for their sacrifice

The coronavirus pandemic is raging in many countries of the world as lots of lives have been lost to the deadly disease.

The healthcare systems in many countries have been overwhelmed by victims of the virus as death tolls continue to go up in many countries.

At the forefront of this crisis are health workers who risk their lives daily to flatten the curve and reduce the death rates as much as possible.

Some of these health workers have even lost their lives to the cause and they are being hailed as heroes by people in other professions.

Just recently, Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML, took to social media via his Twitter page to caution his fans about the dangers of the virus.

Fireboy warned fans to stay at home and that if they must go out, they should be in protective covering and maintain social distancing.

Tweeting further, the Scatter crooner used the opportunity to praise health workers who are risking their lives at the front line of the pandemic.

In his words: “Please stay home, and if you MUST go out, make una use protective gear and maintain social distancing abeg.

Love and gratitude to all the health workers at the frontline of this pandemic. Thank you so much for your sacrifice and God bless you!”

In other news, reported that Nigerian music star, Jaywon, has been arrested by the police for beating the curfew.

The music star was found driving around 11pm around Dolphin estate on Monday, May 4, 2020, and was taken into custody.

The This Year crooner was later taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Yaba where he was charged before a mobile court.
