Recently, a young woman identified as Victoria Funke took to her page on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to beg for the prayers of friends and followers.

Victoria revealed that she lost her mum to coronavirus. According to her, her mother is a nurse and she lost her life to complications from the deadly infection.

The grieving lady noted that her mother was buried on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. According to her, her mother gave all to her work as a healthcare worker.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that a pregnant woman died in Jigawa after testing positive for deadly disease.

The woman, who was from Zareka ward, died at an isolation centre on Sunday, May 3, The Sun reports. It was gathered that the woman's death was confirmed by a member of the state task force. The source said she had a miscarriage at the facility and bled to death.
