- Kubrat Pulev has vowed to defeat Anthony Joshua
- Pulev claims Joshua wants to fight in the UK because he is scared of him
- The Bulgarian stated that he will beat Joshua and take his titles
Bulgarian professional boxer Kubrat Pulev has sounded note of warning to British and Nigerian fighter Anthony Joshua claiming that he will beat him in their next fight.
The coming big fight for Anthony Joshua against two-time European heavyweight champion Pulev will be tough.
These two boxers were initially scheduled to face each other in June this year at the Tottenham stadium, but the fight has been called off because of the deadly coronavirus.
And since the fight has been postponed, Anthony Joshua and Pulev have been training on their own so as to make sure that they are fit before the coming duel.
And while talking to Sky Sports, Pulev criticized the 31-year-old for seeking London as the location for the fight and claimed the Brit was scared.
''I think it is obvious, because he's afraid of me.
''I don't see any other reason. Why should it be in London? Why the fight can't take place in any other place? You answer this.
''We offered various destinations - from Istanbul to Las Vegas, New York or Saudi Arabia. And then I got the reply that Joshua would come up against me only in London. I never asked for the fight to be in Sofia.
''Picking a certain destination is for cowards. For those who prefer to talk a lot rather than act,'' he explained.
Meanwhile, fans are actually clamoring for the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson and not that of Pulev.
