Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the head of the Association of Resident Doctors at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Abubakar Nagoma, said that patients have not been honest enough.

Ten medical doctors working at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, have tested positive for coronavirus.

The development was made known by the chairman of the Association of Resident Doctors in the hospital, Dr Abubakar Nagoma.

He informed journalists in the state that the health officials were infected during the course of their work, adding that some consultants were also among those who tested positive.

Abubakar also said that 100 staffers of the hospital were tested last week, adding that some of the causes of the incident were that some patients were not entirely truthful about the information they provide, while others never used face masks during their medical visit.

He added that a part of the cause was because PPEs were also not enough. The medical chief said that doctors in the hospitals would stop attending to patients.
