Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has recounted the moment he spent with his late father when he was young stressing that he once told his dad he had a dream of having mansion like that of Michael Jackson.

Gone are the days when Cristiano Ronaldo used to play football on the streets in Portugal, today, history can bare witness that the 35-year-old has won five Ballon d'Or awards.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has now paid a touching tribute to his late father who was reported to have died after years of alcohol abuse.

Ronaldo recounted what he told his father when he was a 7-year-old boy in which he also expressed sadness that his dad is no more alive to witness how successful he is today.

"When I was 7, I told my dad I want to have a house like Micheal Jackson's one. And then he said to me that dreams are only dreams, that's a privilege of the rich people.

''I feel sad that my father can't see that and what have I reached in my life,''. Ronaldo explained.

After Cristiano Ronaldo lost his father, his mother took up all the responsibility by single handedly raising the Juventus star.

She is now enjoying the fruits of her labour as Cristiano Ronaldo has been making sure that his mother is comfortable with anything she wants.

Ronaldo is even presently in Portugal with his family where his mother also lives and he will only return to Italy when coronavirus' threat comes down.

Earlier, had reported how Cristiano Ronaldo's team have reportedly been accused of providing the secret information about Paulo Dybala's coronavirus diagnosis so as to prevent their man from returning to Italy.

This comes after reports that Paulo Dybala is yet to recover from coronavirus after six weeks in which he is said to have been tested positive four times.

Paulo Dybala was among the first players playing in the Serie A to announce their status back in March and he has been recuperating since then.

His woman also contracted the virus and they have both quarantined themselves at home where they are using medications.
