Premier League clubs have been offered an escape route in ending the 2019-20 season in Perth, Australia.
There are 92 matches left to play in the English topflight division and a neutral ground has been suggested to clubs.
Former Man United defender Gary Neville believes the only way the season can end is to play matches behind closed doors in the overseas.

English agent Gary Williams who resides in Western Australia is masterminding the move and he has received backing from the local Perth senator.
Williams has also contacted the Australian government and Ministry for Sport to get their backing for the eye-catching idea.
And it is understood that Premier League teams are happy with the idea and are ready to oblige.
Perth has four stadiums that can be used to execute the remaining matches in the English league including — Optus Stadium , Perth Oval, cricket’s WACA and Joondalup Arena.
Brummie Williams said: “I have had discussions with contacts at Premier League clubs and they like the idea.
“I have also spoken with government officials and they are enthusiastic. We are speaking again this week.
“Everybody is safe here. The government has lifted many restrictions.”
Australia has recorded just 93 COVID-19 deaths, compared to over 28,000 in the United Kingdom.
