Austin Okocha has revealed that Brazil's Ronaldinho was his best ever teammate during their respective spells at Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Super Eagles star and the two-time World Player of the Year had a brief spell together during the 2001-02 season at Parc des Princes.

Jay Jay left the Ligue 1 giants shortly after the 2002 World Cup and joined Premier League side Bolton Wanderers.

Okocha and Ronaldinho were involved in a combined 35 goals (23 goals, 12 assists) between them for PSG in all competitions.

When asked who was Okocha's best teammate by Eurosport he said: "The best teammate that I ever played with is Ronaldinho because when you are playing with someone that is a bit similar like you, you don't need to communicate to understand each other.

"Just looking at each other, you know what to do and for me my best opponent was myself because I always put myself under pressure to do well, to be the best in wherever I am.

"I always believe that I am the only person that can stop myself, and because I also I believed that I had a special talent,"

Ronaldinho won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, and Copa America in 1999 as well as the Champions League with Barcelona in 2005.
