Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has grown a reputation as a manager willing to give chances to young players, with the likes of Billy Gilmour, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Reece James shooting to prominence under his tutelage at the club.

That fact has seen Ruiz-Atil's become more receptive to the London club's interest but want assurances on plans they have for the 17-year-old if they sign him this summer.

However, Metro UK citing French publication L'Equipe reports the youngster is open to staying at PSG but wants the Ligue 1 giants to commit to affording him a breakthrough into the first team.

The Catalans have been looking out for potential buyer for the 27-year-old who struggled to blend in his first 18 months at the Camp Nou.
