Many people have an idea of what each tribe represents or is known for even if it is not true. It has become accepted as fact that an average Igbo person is a great lover of money and would do anything for it.

Just recently, Nollywood actress, Onyii Alex, took to social media to make a case for her fellow Igbo ladies. According to her, a lot of men have been using ladies to trend during this lockdown period.

Onyii spoke further and said that Igbo ladies are confirmed hustlers and that beauty and hustling spirit is embedded in an average Igbo lady.

The film star went a step further to give a shoutout to her fellow Igbo sisters who do not wait for any man because they learnt from their mothers and are allergic to poverty.

She wrote: “Since this pandemic men just Dey use girls Dey trend, even the married men. Biko who no like better thing? But one thing I’m sure of is that Igbo girls Dey hustle die. Dey know where Dey r coming from... Forget social media oo! Shoutout to all my Igbo sisters that don’t wait for any man...An average Igbo girl is embedded with beauty and a strong hustle spirit we learnt from our mothers. F**k that broke men mentality. Funnybone said they have been raised to believe that they simply need to grow up and a rich suitor will come whisking them away.
