One of the greatest things to happen to a singer in their career is to be paid a compliment by an older and much-respected colleague and such is the case between legendary musician Innocent Idibia popularly called 2baba and Simi.
2baba took to his page on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to shower praises on the expectant mother.
Noting the current situation in the world, the musician said that people should not pretend that Simi is not phenomenal.

For someone like 2baba who has been in the music industry for decades, complimenting a younger artiste would mean a lot to them and it is no different in the case of Simi.
Clearly not expecting the compliments from the legendary entertainer, the beautiful Duduke crooner responded to the praises with surprise.
According to her, some compliments are bigger than others.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that 2baba explained why he didn’t do much for Dammy Krane while at Hypertek.
According to the singer, this was because Dammy Krane made it all by himself. He described the singer as one with charisma that was so 'alive in his movements'. He also expressed regrets about dealing with some legal issues around the same time the singer was signed to the label.
Sharing the post, Dammy Krane replied that he celebrates the legendary singer and he would continue to celebrate him. The Ase crooner said the older singer's message inspired him daily to make sure he does more for everybody he could reach.
In other news, 2baba celebrated his son Nino Idibia as he clocked 14. The music star took to his official page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram, to share throwback photos. He marked the 14th birthday ceremony of his offspring sweet and touching words.
In the caption that accompanied the post, the singer said a word of prayer for his son whom he described as a blessing to him.
