- Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, recently took to social media to share a message with her Muslim fans during the month of Ramadan

- The message led to a question from a curious fan who wondered if the actress is a Muslim because of the tone of her post

- Dikeh then revealed that she is a Christian but that she has a Muslim boyfriend

A lot of people in Nigeria are from blended families. This means that they have parents who practise different religions such as Christianity and Islam.

Despite the different unrest religion has caused in the country, this has not stopped people from starting relationships with people whose beliefs are different from theirs.

Just recently, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, took to social media via her Instagram page to share a message with her Muslim fans during the month of Ramadan.

In the photo of the post, the actress was spotted totally covered and dressed like a Muslim woman and in her caption she wrote:

“Ramadan Mubarak to all Our Muslim Brothers and Sister, May Allah accept our Prayers, Bless Us and Heal the World…We are with you in spirit and in Truth…Allah Bless you # inshaAllah”.

The tone of her message left some fans wondering about her religion and one even asked if she is a Muslim.

The actress responded to the comment by saying that she is a Christian but that she has a Muslim boyfriend.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade, revealed that she has returned to Islam after converting from Christianity.

The actress noted that for long, she has avoided approaching the topic of religion because it is a very sensitive subject for her. She added that it is only those that are extremely close to her that know the religion she practices.

Speaking further, Adunni disclosed that at some point in her life she converted to Christianity and worshipped with MFM, RCCG, CLAM, CAC, among other Christian institutions. She, however, noted that while all this was going on, Islam never left her.
