The coronavirus induced lockdown has forced a lot of Nigerian celebrities to make more use of the live video session on Instagram, however, some of them are quickly getting in trouble for the things they say.

One such celebrity is popular comedian, Stanley Chibuna, popularly known as Funnybone. During a recent live session that featured a female follower, the comic act shared his opinion about the average Igbo ladies. According to him, they depend on their beauty to earn a rich husband.

Funnybone said they have been raised to believe that they simply need to grow up and a rich suitor will come whisking them away.

Funnybone said: "I am Igbo, you know, am saying this with no apology to anybody here who is Igbo. Am being honest, the average Nigerian Igbo girl, average, the mindset is I'm a fine girl.”
