Mom in utter sadness after realising son has been doubling his school fees

- A Twitter user with the handle @DahunsiJohnOlu1 has shared a story of how a 300 level student of Landmark University scammed his family

- According to his account, the boy always collected double his school fees every session by asking separately for both first and second semesters

- When his mom found out, she was in great disbelief that her son could do such despite knowing she did not have enough

A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle, @DahunsiJohnOlu1, has narrated how a mom of a 300-level undergraduate in Landmark University was left in great disbelief when he realised that the young man has been collecting double his school fees.

To do that, the said student convinced his dad that they pay per semester in his school as against the per session billing system.

The boy’s father had been the one paying until the man’s demise. To cope with the new financial responsibility, the mother had to take loans. As time went on, the burden put a lot of pressure on the mother.

Unknown and frustrated on what to do, the woman had to call the Dean of the college of science in the school to ask for payment delay grace.

When the dean made an inquiry from the school’s account officer, he was informed that the boy had paid in full.

On probing further, they saw the way he had been squandering the money on online shopping. According to the Twitter user, the student almost ran away when his mess caught up with him.

He added that when he heard them say “how can this guy with crutches be our mathematics teacher”, it hurt him so bad.

The mockery continued as he was made fun of whenever he struggled to write the date at the top end of the blackboard because of his height.
