Talented Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, recently opened up about why he receives hate from some people and his reason is quite interesting.

A Twitter user had earlier taken to the micro-blogging platform to state that the Disturbance crooner does not deserve the amount of hate he gets.

Responding to this, Davido stated that his real fans love him. According to him, those people who hate him do so because they are mad his father is rich. "What hate ?? The just mad my Dad rich !! MY FANS LOVE ME !!," he wrote.

Davido is one celebrity who is always ready to help others. In a recent post he shared, the singer proved his desire to help Nigerians once again.

Recently, American rapper Robert Rihmeek Williams, popularly known as Meek Mill, revealed that he donated his dream car, the 2018 Rolls Royce, to help people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Reacting to the move, Davido shared the post on his Instagram story. He then asked if anyone in Lagos state can do what Meek Mill did. In another post, the singer, who allegedly has a garage worth over 202 million naira, revealed that he does not mind selling off his expensive cars to also help.

In other news, Niniola Apata, popularly known as Niniola, has received a certificate of recognition from the Recording Academy for her work as a composer on the album, The Lion King: The Gift by American singer, Beyonce.

The talented Nigerian singer made the announcement via her official Instagram page. An excited Niniola shared a copy of the certificate, thanking God and everyone who has shown support for her.
