COVID-19: Nigerians react as Lagos records 74 cases in one day, total now 504

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 91 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

The NCDC via its official Twitter account on Wednesday night, April 22, revealed that 74 of the new cases are in Lagos, five in Katsina, four in Ogun, two in Delta, two in Edo, one in Kwara, one in Oyo, one in FCT, and one in Adamawa.

With the new development, Nigeria now has 873 cases with 197 of them discharged and 28 deaths.

However, what attracts Nigerians on social media the most about the new cases is how Lagos continues to record more cases, extending the gap between it and other states almost every day.

With the 74 cases confirmed on Wednesday, Lagos now has 504 cases with the FCT coming a distant second with 119 cases.
