SARS brutality: Young Nigerian man ends his life after alleged assault

It is indeed a sad and trying time for the family members of a young Nigerian man identified as Seyi Akinade, who was forced to end his life, after allegedly suffering a terrible experience at the hands of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives.
The brother of the deceased identified as @snarkycomebacks on Twitter recently came out to share the harrowing circumstances that led to his brother taking his life.
@snarkycomebacks shared a couple of screenshots in which the late Seyi gave a detailed narration of his alleged encounter with the SARS men.
Seyi in his tweets said his ordeal started on February 2, 2020. He narrated how SARS men wrongfully accused him of being a fraudster after they found out that he was a forex trader. The late young man said he was wrongfully arrested, and during the period while he was being held, he lost several thousands of dollars belonging to investors.

The late Seyi also shared how his detainment made him miss an important presentation which was scheduled for the next day. Everything that happened at the time threw his life in shambles, and in his narration, he dropped hints at the possibility of taking his life.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously gathered the report of a young Nigerian man who narrated his experience with SARS officers who attempted to extort money from him. The Nigerian man identified as Rising Odegua explained that the officers randomly stopped the bus he boarded and decided to pick on him. Odegua noted that the officers accused him of being a fraudster and gave up only after they realised he had no money to give them.
