However, the Adamawa case has not been confirmed by the NCDC.
In another report, the federal government on Tuesday, April 21 warned against patronising a fake coronavirus vaccine, which it said was on sale in Kano state at the moment.
This was revealed by the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed at the daily briefing of the presidential task force on COVID-19.
The minister urged the people of Kano not to patronize the vaccine, saying it is not certified by health experts.
The minister said, to curb the ignorance among the Nigerian populace on the virus, the government has increased its enlightenment programs aboutCOVID-19.
Currently, there are more than 70 vaccine candidates in development around the world.
Even though a vaccine could be more than a year away, researchers are experimenting with drugs and therapies to help ease the strain on overwhelmed healthcare systems.
