Nigerian ex-international goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama who has been a free agent since leaving French league 1 side LOSC Lille in 2018 has stated that he is ready to return, Complete Sports reports.

The 37-year-old has claimed he is open to potential move to either of Absa Premiership clubs Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs.

Enyeama who holds the most capped record for the Nigerian national team with 101 appearances for the Super Eagles has been a free agent since leaving Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille in 2018.

However, the goalkeeper who has spent over a decade in Europe has been keeping fit in his desperate bid to get a new club.

In a recent chat with African Football HQ, the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner disclosed that it would appeal to him if either of the Soweto giants offer him a contract.

"Yeah, why not? Johannesburg is a good place to be,” Enyeama confirmed. “If there’s an opportunity to play at Chiefs or Pirates, why not?

“Football is my life, football is my blood and if there is an opportunity to play and the terms and details are okay and my family and wife are okay with it, then we move.”

Meanwhile, Nigerian football star Samuel Chukwueze seems to be hugging the headlines in England as two Premier League clubs battle to secure the winger's services.

Currently playing for Spanish league side, Villarreal, the 20-year-old has been superb for the Yellow Submarines - scoring three goals and one assist in 22 La Liga appearances.

The Super Eagles winger broke into Javier Calleja's squad last season and has soon become a key member of the team.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has backed the duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze to shine in the Super Eagles jersey.

The youngsters broke into the country's national team last year and ended up winning bronze medal in their first competitive outing at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Championship in Egypt.

Although that would not have happened without the help of the 30-year-old star who scored five goals and also ended up winning the tournament's highest goals scorer gong.
