Congratulations are in order for actress Toyin Abraham as she has become the new face of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). As expected, Nigerians have taken to their various social media page to celebrate the actress' win.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that actress Funke Akindele flouted the health guidelines despite being an ambassador for the NCDC after she organised a house party to celebrate her husband's birthday.

The party was attended by a number of people and moments from the celebration was shared on Twitter. Many people were angry as they called for her prosecution.

Following the outrage on her actions, the video of Akindele advising people to maintain proper hygiene on the official Twitter page of the NCDC was pulled down. The NCDC further stated that they did not engage a brand ambassador to help them spread the information on COVID- 19.

Meanwhile, actress Toyin Abraham had volunteered at some point to help the NCDC to share correct information via her official Instagram page.

The NCDC seemed to have now made her the face of the organisation as they have shared a video of the actress sharing information on the deadly virus. In the video, she was heard speaking in the Yoruba language as she urged people to obey all hygiene instructions.

Nigerians have now reacted to the video and many are congratulating the actress on her new endorsement. However, they warned her about going against what she is preaching as her colleague.
