Singer Runtown receives stimulus payment from US despite ban from country

Nigerian singer Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtwon said that he has received his stimulus payment from the United States of America's government. Runtown made the announcement on his social media page.
Stimulus payment is an initiative of the US government to provide relief for its citizens during economic hardships. According to reports, the payment is made to people with social security numbers and individuals may get up to over N360k.
And Runtown announced that he has received his own payment of the money on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter. The singer also revealed what he would do with the money.

According to him, he would be sharing it with his friends on his Twitter page.
Runtown also made another revelation about the stimulus payment. He stated that he got the money despite being banned from the US for two years now.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that singer Runtown promised to give out N10m to Nigerians for lockdown. He stated that he is certain that there are people with no money to buy what they would need to survive the present situation in the country. As a result of that, Runtown said he would be giving out N10 million. He told his fans and followers to drop their account numbers in his comment section. As at the time of writing this story, Runtown’s tweet was liked over 22, 000 times and retweeted over seven thousand times.

Nigerians thanked Runtown as they receive shut down funds from him. In recent tweets shared by Nigerians, it was gathered that the singer fulfilled his promise and sent money to Nigerians who dropped their account details for him. They have taken to Twitter to thank him. The Nigerians shared screenshots of alerts received from N25,000 to N15,000, and they thanked him for his kindness. He replied to their messages and asked them to stay safe.
