Nollywood actress Rita Edochie is celebrating her birthday on Thursday, April 16, but the actress said that she will not be hosting a party to mark her big day.
Usually, celebrities take lovely photos and invite family and friends to celebrate their birthdays but since the coronavirus pandemic struck, many celebrities have not been found celebrating.
For Rita, she revealed that she will be using the occasion of her birthday to pray for the country. According to her, she is not happy with the situation of things happening across nations.
“I will be on my knees praying to God Almighty for forgiveness. I beg of him to heal our land. There is so much agony in every home. Forgive us Lord in every way we have sinned against you please oh Lord," she said.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian woman identified as @Blaise_21 called out some young men on Twitter for making unpleasant comments about Yul Edochie's daughter.
A few days ago, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie celebrated his 15-year-old daughter's birthday. The actor took to his various social media pages to celebrate his beloved first child. Edochie also shared a lovely photo of him and his beautiful daughter.
As expected fans took to the entertainer's comment section to celebrate his daughter. But some young men replied to the actor's post and made various comments about his daughter's body, noting that she was ripe enough.
Disgusted by the men's actions, @Blaise_21 made a screenshot of the men's photos and their comments. She shared the photos and comments on her page while describing them as abusers.
She did not end there as she also called on the actor for a reaction to the men's comments.
