Talented Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, is back in the news and this time, it is for yet another great feat achieved.

The controversial Odogwu crooner broke a new record courtesy of his latest album, African Giant.

According to reports, African Giant has become the most-streamed African album on Spotify with over 200 million streams to its credit.

This makes it the first African album to achieve such feat on the online streaming platform. The album was released in 2019 after he stirred up drama following his Coachella call-up.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Olawale Olofooro, popularly known as Brymo, has gotten into a discussion with fans on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, about his music compared to that of other Nigerian artistes.

The discussion began after the singer shared a tweet, asking Nigerians if people would still listen to their favourite singers if they took a break for two years.

A Nigerian identified as @Emdee_01 on the platform replied to the tweet by saying that Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are above him. The man also listed the albums released by the singers that would rival Brymo's album.
