Kenny Dalglish: Liverpool legend leaves hospital days after testing positive for coronavirus

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has been discharged from hospital just days after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 69-year-old was rushed to the hospital earlier this month for an infection which "required intravenous antibiotics."
But upon further examination, it was established he had contracted the novel coronavirus despite showing no symptoms of the infection.

BBC Sport now reports the former Scotland international has already started his journey to recovery in self-isolation at home.
Speaking on his speedy healing, the 69-year-old thanked the National Health Services for the care and support.
"People may think my name got me the best of care but every patient in the NHS gets the best of care," Dalglish told The Sunday Post.
"As a nation, we are lucky to have them and I wish them all well as they work tirelessly to help the country through this pandemic," he added.
Dalglish won a number of titles through his illustrious football career that saw him ply his trade with Scottish giants, Celtic, before moving to Liverpool in 1977.

He won eight Championships with the Reds as player and manager and three European Cups.
Away from Liverpool, the football legend also helped Blackburn Rovers lift the Premier League title as manager in 1995.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Premier League leaders Liverpool have confirmed that their legend Kenny Dalglish has been tested positive for the global pandemic disease coronavirus.
Despite having no previous symptoms, the 69-year-old was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, April 8, where a test conducted for him before the result came out positive.
Dalglish has now been admitted into the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment against the deadly disease.
