Barcelona captain Lionel Messi has responded to reports linking him with a move to Italian giants Inter Milan and also claims that he paid for Ronaldinho's bail to get out of prison.

There have been reports for months that Lionel Messi does not want to end his career at Barcelona with many claiming that he wants to move to Italy and continue rivalry with Ronaldo.

Messi who has never played for any other club than Barcelona has now rubbished the reports claiming that he is happy at Barcelona and will remain at Nou Camp.

The Argentine footballer made this known on his official social media account branding the reports as fake and told his fans not to take such serious.

He also denied reports of him helping former teammate Ronaldinho to pay his bail from prison where he was recently released to house arrest.

Ronaldinho spends close to five weeks inside Paraguay jail after being accused of using fake passport to entered the country with him and his brother.

Lawyers representing Ronaldinho posted that the sum of $1.6 million was spent for the Brazilian to come out of prison.

Football fans then began to imagine how Ronaldinho was able to get such huge amount of money and thought Lionel Messi could have helped him.

"#FakeNews'"and "Lie 1: Messi to Inter, Lie 2: Messi gave money to Ronaldinho in jail.

He then added: "What they said about Newell's Old Boys a few weeks ago is also false, thank God no one believed them,''.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are in top gear so as to make sure that Lionel Messi signs another long term contract and if possible life.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic took to social media to post stunning photo of himself dribbling Lionel Messi during Croatia's 3-0 win over Argentina at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

It was a nice moment for Rakitic and his teammates at the national team as they defeated Argentina in the Group stage match in which Lionel Messi failed to shine.

Croatia went on to reach the final of the 2018 World Cup before losing against France who sent Argentina out in the knock out stages.

Ivan Rakitic may not be having it rosy this season with Barcelona in which there have been news that he could be sold when the summer transfer window opens.

However, he has caused a stir among Barcelona fans for the photo he posted on Instagram where he made Lionel Messi fall on the ground in Russia.
