Brymo says dual citizenship with a Nigerian passport should be illegal

Nigerian singer Olawale Oloforo, professionally known as Brymo, has taken to social media to complain about dual citizenship. The singer shared a post on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to talk about his thoughts on dual citizenship.

In his tweet, the singer noted that dual citizenship with a Nigerian passport should be illegal. He said that people with dual citizenship view Nigeria as an option.

The singer stated that many of them just love the country from afar and they only come home when they feel like.

Brymo gave an example, saying that some people stay in other countries for the week only to come back home to the tribe for fun. He described it as a selfish love.

The 33-year-old singer, who is also a songwriter, composer, and author, started his career in 1999, he was in secondary school at the time. He signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010, but he was later accused of breaching his contract in 2013.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, recently mocked Nigerians over the office of the accountant-general that got burnt in Abuja.

Burna Boy said that Nigerians deserve everything they are going through. It was gathered that the fire started from around the third floor, razing the building upwards including the accountant-general office and most of the important offices.

Reacting to the fire incidence, Burna Boy took to his page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram, to taunt Nigerians. In the video he shared online, the singer and his friend were seen laughing as they recorded themselves.

Acting as if he suspected a foul play with the fire at the finance office, the singer said that Nigerians will suffer. He noted that the funds donated to combat COVID-19 and also to help feed some Nigerians have been disbursed, however, he funnily stated that the money has caught fire.
